Speaker - Christine Kennedy
Christine
Kennedy is Vice President of Advocacy and Workforce
Development for the Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Although she isn’t a full-time missionary she says
her life mission is to” live a life that models Christ,
inspires others and leaves a legacy.”
And she is doing just that.
At only 33 years of age, her leadership
and service to the Lord has resulted in the opening of the
Christine Kennedy Primary School in the Democratic Republic of
Congo, Africa after helping spearhead the funding for the
school to open.
She was one of the youngest Local Board
of Administration members to be elected at her local church
and now serves on the District Finance Committee, District
Board and as District Director of World Missions for the
Shenandoah District. She
has also been elected as an inaugural delegate for the
first-ever international conference of the Wesleyan church to
be held this June in Orlando.
Kennedy will be speaking at Christ Community Church
'Faith Promise Banquet' on April 12th @ 6:00 p.m. and the
following morning worship service on April 13th.
Her theme for the weekend “Living Available”
is for anyone seeking a life of fulfillment, purpose and
abundance. Come to
hear Christine’s inspirational story of how God can use
anyone who is available and obedient to the Lord’s calling.
“Living Available” will charge or recharge your
batteries to seek and serve the Lord.
